Everyday Is Valentine Day When You Are In Love

Valentine Day is that time set aside every February 14th to express your love for that special someone in your life. The day is celebrated from grade school through adulthood. It begins with the exchanging of Valentine Day Cards and leads to the exchanging of diamond rings. It is a good holiday. Valentine Day is a time to go above and beyond in your pursuit to display your unrelenting affection. However, if you are truly in love than everyday can be Valentine Day. To many times in our society we wait for a special holiday to adhere to our feelings. Take Christmas for example, when everyone seems to be just a little more friendly, a time when the good in all of us seems to rise to the surface. In addition there is Easter, when our faith seems to be lifted for the occasion.

Why is it that we tend to rely on a special holiday to display our true feelings? I am sure you have heard the song “Why can’t everyday be like Christmas”. Your first inclination might be that it would not be unique if those feelings were expressed each and everyday. However, I beg to differ. If we could express our love everyday, all around the world, would this not be a better world? This is a major misconception of those that accept life for what it is. Optimism is not a sin, but simply the human trait of hope. We hold that amazing ability as human beings to cling to the faith that our lives can be better. Therefore, do not rely on Valentine Day to show your soul mate that you love them. Show them each and every day of your life. Surprise them with a rose. Give their heart a lift with a romantic card containing your most sincere feelings of love and passion. Every day can be Valentine Day, when you are in love.

As human beings we are empowered with the ability to creative in the expression of our love. Many people throughout the world, such as me, express those feelings in the form of poetry. Our emotions are transformed from beats in our heart to words on a page for you. You have the opportunity to share these poems that we have written for all to enjoy. Love Poems Come From The Heart

Love fills us with many different emotions. These emotions vary from individual to individual. We tend to define our feelings on love in our own way. Quite often when we are in love we become inspired. Our feelings seem to go haywire and we look for ways to release all of those emotions. Obviously we share them with those that we love. In addition we look for other outlets to express those feelings. It can be done in letters. Some keep these personal emotions in diaries or journals. Others feel very comfortable with sharing their feelings about love in the form of poetry. We know that our feelings on love are given birth in our hearts. This makes it even more profound.

The emotion of love is so special in our lives. It gives us hope and faith in the world around us. It delivers in us this strong sense of security and reason for being. All of us entertain a common need to be loved or to love someone. The power of love cannot be underestimated. It is the foundation of all that we seek in building our lives for the future. Love has a way of sustaining us through the toughest times. Love feeds our hunger for mental and physical contact with those we are attracted too. True love is not based on physical attraction alone. It is formed and bonded through the sharing of personalities and experiences.

Of course love is not limited to relationships between partners. Love can be defined in numerous other engagements. There is love between family members from grandparents, parents, and siblings to all members of a family tree. There is also the love of a friend. It can be that special person who has been with you through thick and thin. The emotional journey of love has no boundaries and can be evident in endless locations. In addition there are those that have love for their pets, their homes and their country. Love is truly the emotion that ignites our human spirit and solidifies our connection with those around us. Our desire to love and be loved transcends all other emotions.

As strong as love can be it is also quite fragile. It must be nurtured with care. Love that lasts a lifetime must survive many obstacles and withstand many burdens. These definitions of love are special and need to be shared. That is why it is so inspiring to have options to explore and find heartfelt poetry. Love That Is Sad Is Not All Bad

When I say that love that is sad is not all bad, what I am really trying to say is that we tend to learn from these relationships. Love should never be sad, only the love that is lost. We can lose love in various forms and fashion. Love is such a vast and complicated emotion. The journey that love can take you can be long and unpredictable. To love someone is one of the most essential feelings that one can express. To not be loved in return or to lose that love is a pain that can only be healed by love itself. For example, if you parted with someone you love, perhaps you were healed by the love of a friend, a sibling or one of your parents. True love can cure pain caused by love lost.

As we journey through the circle of life, all of us will love, be loved in return and eventually have that love slip away from us in one form or another. Our grandparents will grow old and life will take them away. Our parents will one day depart from us as well. We will experience pain and suffering as we search for our soul mates, the one true love that will sustain us through it all. Hearts were not meant to be broken, but it is inevitable that they will be. Although this is certainly the case, we cannot refrain from love. No matter how sad it may one day be. It is our destiny to enjoy love while it lasts. To always keep it in our hearts and souls. It is our obligation to learn from the experience so that it will make us stronger. We cannot give up on love. We must always find solace in the fact that true love will not give up on us. True love will stay with you forever.

That being said, love that is sad is not all bad. You must endure the hard love to properly enjoy the rewards of a good one. You must adhere to the rules of engagement, that there will be good times as there will be bad. However, if you truly love someone, you accept this as a part of life. Do not allow yourself to become depressed over sad love. Rejoice in the happiness and memories that were given birth from it. There are those, such as myself, who after traveling the road of sad love, chose to free our feelings in the form of poetry. These feelings, although different in some ways from others, still evolve from the same heartfelt experiences. You can share those memories with us. You can take a journey through our poetry and perhaps be touched by a memory close to your own. Together, we can learn, that love that is sad is not all bad.

Love, The Food Of Our Soul

Love makes the world go around. If only people could express their love more often, what a better world this would be. There are many kinds of love. There is the love of family. Perhaps, the love of a friend. There is love for your community, your environment and your world. There is even the love of a good book, poem or movie. Love is the emotion that lifts our spirits to heights unknown. Love comes in many different variations. However, it is the love that one feels for a soul mate, that soars to limits of unexplained passion and desire. It is this love that transcends the capacity of normal emotions, that ignites our romantic abilities and causes harps to play and hearts to sing. All of us can remember that first love. It was then, that we were first confronted with the notion, that love is the food of our soul.

Love is a powerful emotion. It cannot be ignored or discarded without serious consequence. Love is the root of our existence, an emotion that yearns to be returned with satisfaction. Everyone wants to be loved. Especially, by the one you love as well. There has been an ever ending collection of books, poems and movies created, that have tried to explain it. Love is that important. There is no feeling quite like the first time you look into your lovers eyes and know that they are looking at you with the same passion and desire. Words cannot fully express the way you feel when your lips first encounter those of the one you love. The touch of their skin, the smell of their hair. The way two hearts seem to beat as one. The way two souls come together in a combination of tension and exploration. It is here that love feeds the soul.

You know you are in love, when you cannot stand to be apart from that special someone. You confront this when you are out and you see things that you wish your love was there to share with you. Your thoughts are over loaded with those of your soul mate. Your heart explodes when you are near them, and sleeps when your apart. You cannot picture life without them. You know that you are their top priority and they know that they are yours. You can see yourself growing old together and looking back at a wonderful love affair that never lost it's fire. These are signs, that you are probably very much in love. Myself, and many others like me, have allowed our feelings on love, to flow passionately into the form of poetry. You have the opportunity to share those feelings. Take a journey through our love poems, allow them to reflect upon your own passion and desire. Allow love to feed your soul.

Roses Are Red, But I'll Take A Dozen Of You

Everyone knows that roses are red and violets are blue, but I’d much rather have a dozen of you. Granted, that is a little corny, but in your case it is true. Roses are the essence of beauty and yet they cannot touch that which you possess. They cannot mirror the gleam in your eyes that melt my soul. Although your lips are rosy, they cannot accept any responsibility for that. Roses are mere flowers that bloom only in season, whereas you bloom in my heart every day of my life. The beauty of a rose is short lived, whereas yours is destined to last a lifetime. Roses are red, as red as the blood that flows through my veins, carrying my love for you. I can give you roses but I would much rather give you my heart.

Roses have led the way to a women’s heart for many years past. They have been used confidently as signs of sincere affection. They are a standard in the romantic system. In addition, they are a reflection of love in its purest form. Although they are blessed with all of these credentials they still lose their luster in your presence. These roses of red are sub standard when placed in the hands of one so full of love and charm. There are those that yearn for the smell of a rose but I yearn for the smell of your hair. Some may find pleasure in the tenderness of a rose but I find that reward in your soft skin of silk. When close to a rose you must beware of the thorn. I only feel the pain of a thorn in my heart when I am not by your side. Roses are red but I would rather have a dozen of you.

Do not take me wrong; I do not under estimate the beauty of a rose. I do not mean to imply that a rose is not empowered to deliver satisfaction. Roses are a direct result of the glory of creation. Their role cannot be ignored. I simply state that a rose is no match for you. Like many other people in the world, I express my feelings about roses in poetry. I allow my emotions to transcend into words. You can share in the poetry of many. Perhaps you will find a feeling touched that reflects those in your own heart.
