Although you’ve passed from this world
And left my world in sorrow
I know that I must go on
And face this life tomorrow
Just when I think I’m content
And well upon my way
To dealing with your loss
Along comes your birthday
Memories of birthdays past
Hold my heart at bay
I will find solace once again
Until your next birthday
